Angelic Pretty group order

You asked for it, well here it is. An Angelic Pretty group order!

This order will close on February 11 10PM EST.

We've never done an AP group order before because Angelic Pretty's system is a little different than our other brands in ways that make a group order difficult. But a bunch of people have asked us to do one, so we're going to try it. The caveats:

  • There is a $50 minimum order requirement, the reason being we want to avoid going back and forth with AP over whether they have a $17 pair of socks, which could delay the entire shipment.

  • We will require 100% payment within 24 hours once we verify stock with AP.

  • We cannot guarantee that we can get any given item until we actually order it from AP and hear back from them, even if the web site says it's in stock (hence the rule above).

So here's how it will work, and be sure to read these instructions carefully:

1. Browse Angelic Pretty's Japanese shopping site to find the products you want. (Visit their site and click "shopping".) This is the stock we can order from. If it's easier, you can use their English site first and then try to find the same products on the Japanese site, but the Japanese site has different (usually more current) stock.

2. Important: click the order button next to the color of the product you want on the Japanese site. You need to do this to check stock status. For example, this is the ordering section of the page for the Lovely Girl Rider's Jacket:

The colors listed are (left to right, top to bottom): pink x pink, lavender x pink, mint x pink, and black x black. You would click the button next to the color you want. If you then see this...

...then your product is sold out at Angelic Pretty. We can't get it. Sorry!

If, on the other hand, you see a shopping cart with your product in it, then you're in luck!

3. Email us at info@tokyorebel.com with the following info:

  • Subject: Angelic Pretty group order

  • Your full name

  • The item number of the item you want (this is printed above the item name on the product page)

  • The item name

  • The color you want

  • If it's easy enough for you, a direct link to the item (you need to know how to get the link of a frame - it's ok if you don't)

  • The Japanese price (for further verification)

  • Your email address for PayPal invoicing

4. We will then verify ourselves that we can add it to our cart, and if so, we'll calculate our price for the item and email it to you. Our prices are generally calculated by converting the Japanese price into dollars and then adding our costs for shipping from Japan and overhead, usually 5-10% of the total, depending on the cost and weight of the item. We will also send you the shipping cost from us to you - our standard shipping rates are here.

5. If you ok the price, we will add it to our order that we're sending to AP.

6. As soon as AP invoices us, we will invoice you for the full price of the item. So your next communication will be a PayPal invoice, which you have 24 hours to pay.

7. AP sends the item to us, and we turn around and send it to you.

Regarding Jewelry Jelly, AP's newest reserve series: We will be stocking this in our store, however what we can actually get is anybody's guess at this point. So you can ask us to order this series for you, but if you're really set on getting a specific color and style, a shopping service that can stand in line at one of their Japanese stores will be a safer bet. AP understandably gives priority to their own stores in Japan.

By the way, a couple of you already have placed special orders - those are already coming in a shipment that's hopefully shipping this week. This is a separate, new order we're putting together.

That's it! Hopefully not too complicated. Feel free to email us with any questions, or ask here.

MAXICIMAM restock and new cat ear hats!

We went through our last round of MAXICIMAM stock like butter - every parasol we had, all of our t-shirts but one (it looked a little forlorn on the shelf by itself), all of our scarves, many of our accessories and several tote bags. Well, it took us a little while, but most of it's back - with a few new additions.

Restocked are the black and silver Electric Chainsaw Girl t-shirts that are literally the shiniest t-shirts we've ever had. These are back up for order right now. The Mushroom Print will now be available in the same color combo - it's in our store now, and will be online soon. Both shirts are also available in white/black.

Chainsaw Girl scarves are back in stock in black/white and black/red. Get 'em while there's still a reason to!

We've also got new cat ear hats that are very cute. You can see one in the top right of the photo above - we'll post better photos to a new product page for them soon.

Parasols are back in too, in new colors and prints. We tried to restock more of what we had, but MAXICIMAM was sold out of some colors themselves. We did get one color each of the Fairy Tale Print and Red Riding Hood umbrellas, plus a new print design that we'll post once we can take some pictures.

Oh, also! MAXICIMAM sent us some single-page calendars and little stickers. We'll be giving those to anyone who buys any MAXICIMAM product.

Enjoy! And for our web customers, we'll try to get all of the new products up over the next few days, along with the new SPR stuff.

Latest Victorian maiden reserve batch ends tomorrow

Don't miss out - there's a new batch of eight Victorian maiden reserve items up on our reserve page right now, and all end tomorrow night at 10PM EST.

These will be released in spring and most are themed that way. All are beautiful, but of particular note are the Lace Pattern Camisole and Rose Card Skirt, a set of print coordinates that's a little bit of a departure from VM's classic style. There's also a Rose Card Dress if you like the colors and print but you're not into separates.

Also don't miss the Elegant Waterproof Coat Dress, which is the most inexpensive coat we can remember from VM, and it's waterproof to boot. Perfect for weathering those April showers in style.

New SEX POT ReVeNGe items are here!

Received a new shipment of SPR items today - lots of stuff! Some new, some restocked items. Some of the restocked items you can already find on our web site. Here's a little taste of some of the rest. (This is not everything!)

These are new - AI custom cell phone straps, and these were all made just for us:

SPR was almost sold out of these last we checked, and they made these to order for us.

Here's one of the coordinated outfits we got - the Cannibal Freak shirt with the Cannibal Crown skirt (we have these in multiple colors):

Of course, we're gonna get t-shirts in with every SPR shipment. These are new for us, including both custom and regular t-shirts:

Also new for us and something a lot of you have been asking for - wallets!

We'll update with prices later, but all of these items are pretty reasonable, as SPR stuff usually is.

Not pictured, but we also got PANTS. A lot of you ask us for pants, and we rarely stock them, the main reasons being cost and size. Japanese pants are universally expensive - that's just the way it is. But you asked for them, so we got them. We'll post them to the web site soon. We can tell you right now that they're $139 per pair. They are very cool, though.

Also not pictured - Empress Crown trench coats, the Augur cardigan that many of you have wanted, and even more!

And yes, those of you who are on our impromptu waiting list for the Sex Pot lock and chain, we have them again too.

More info to come!

Coming (very) soon: Dekoden kits!

Today's fun new thing: dekoden! We're pleased to announce that we've partnered up with dekoden.com to bring a variety of their deco kits to the US. They'll be for sale in our store within the next few days, just as soon as we can set up our display. We do also plan to sell them online.

What is dekoden? You've all seen it, but not everybody might know it by name. Check it:

Dekoden is huge in Japan, both among the fashion subcultures of places like Harajuku and even crossing over into the mainstream. There are many stores there that not only specialize in dekoden, but in fact sell nothing else. There are even street vendors in Tokyo that teach people how to do it.

We're starting with pre-assembled kits to make life easier, so you don't need to worry about picking the right crystals or coordinating deco items. Everything comes in one kit and all you need to do is apply it how you want. We've also got the tool kits to get you started, with the plastic sheet (to protect your device), tweezers and glue. If there's demand, we may carry individual crystals and other pieces later.

We'll let you know when we've got these out on the floor of our store, and when we've added them to our web site. If you really can't wait, we'll sell a kit right out of the box in the meantime :)

VM Rose Garden series reissued

Our first-ever reserve series from Victorian maiden was the Rose Garden series, and a lot of you didn't even know about us back then and missed out. We've gotten emails asking about this series ever since, and we've always had to just tell those people that they were unfortunately too late.

Well, it's back for a very limited time! Victorian maiden is reissuing most of the items in the series, and we now have them up for reserve again. We will receive the items in spring (perfect timing for a floral print), in April or early May. There is no promotional pricing this time since it's a series reissue, but the prices listed are the same as what you'd pay if these items were in stock in our store.

This was one of VM's largest series in a while, with items of every type - everything you need to create a matching outfit. The accessories (handbag and parasols) are not being reissued, and the regular dress is already sold out, but there are still nine items available in the series.

The reserve period ends JANUARY 28 10PM EST.

Don't forget that if you do happen to want the Rose Garden skirt in classic rose, it's the one item from the original run that we have left in stock.

If you already ordered a cat ear coat to be shipped, we now have it and it will be shipped shortly.

The rest of these items should start to go up on our web site late tonight and tomorrow. You can see them all in our store now.
