A few details on our upcoming SEX POT ReVeNGe shipment

Some of you have been watching in horror as our SEX POT ReVeNGe section was decimated this month, what with the NY Times article and Christmas. They're a very popular brand, and we have a hard time keeping their clothes in stock.

Well, we've got a bunch of new stuff coming either late this week or very early next (it's in the air right now). And probably even more coming soon after that. Included in the shipment are a few surprises. A couple we will announce later. But we'll announce this one now:


YES, we will have the 2010 winter Happy Packs!

SPR themselves are already sold out of these - we cleaned out their remaining stock.

There are three happy pack types, each containing a different full outfit (including pants, a shirt, a jacket/parka/sweatshirt, some kind of accessory and a bag) and two sizes: M and L. Each pack contains more than $300 worth of clothes if purchased separately (and probably more like $400 once shipping is factored in). We will be selling them for $160. They're quite heavy, so some of that price is our shipping cost, and you'd probably pay more ordering straight from SPR (if you still could).

Now, this is a very special thing. Some of you may know that a certain "other" retailer had the 2009 lucky packs last year, but it's very unusual for any brand to sell their lucky (or happy) packs through retailers. They're already selling these clothes for a loss, so selling them wholesale to stores usually doesn't make much sense. We're very lucky to have these, and we were only able to get an extremely limited number. We may not even be able to get these up on our web site before selling out in our store. We expect them to go very, very quickly. We would have ordered more if we could have.

Now, there are a few rules:

1. You can choose a size, but not a type. That's why most brands call them "lucky" packs - what you actually get is a surprise.

2. We will not be taking reservations for these, by email or otherwise.

3. There are no returns on these, for any reason. You take your chances with a lucky pack.

4. We cannot open any pack before we sell it.

Now, what have we got for our customers who aren't from around here and are worried about missing out on a happy pack? Don't worry, we've got plenty of other stuff coming in the same shipment for quick addition to our web site, including a bunch of new t-shirts, handbags, a restock of the Royal Border hats and scarves, and more. Unfortunately no more winter coats, military or otherwise - there are no more to be had! With temps now in the 50's in Tokyo, winter coats only go on sale there for a very short time and SPR is already sold out for the season. Gotta get stuff while you can!
