Innocent World: good things come in small packages

Yesterday we received a small shipment from Innocent World - it was mostly filled with reserve and special orders, but we did restock the super-popular Double Ribbon Lycee Bag in cafe au lait x bordeaux!  One of these already sold in our store even before posting this, and we only have one left!

We also received the Charles Crown Jumperskirt in all three colors (forest green is already sold out!) and the matching Clementia Crown socks as well.  We will have those posted to our site shortly.  Already available on our site are the restocked Torchon Lace overknee socks in white (black is also available).

Black Friday and general holiday info!

The scene outside our store before Black Friday 2010.  It got pretty ugly.  (Just kidding.)

While Internet sales and "Black Friday Creep" have definitely spread out the start of the Christmas buying season, we're traditionalists when it comes to these things. We'll be opening at 1PM as usual this Friday, but with a series of one-day special sales! Some of you may remember one or two of these from last year - we're bringing back our most popular promotion!

* All Hellcat Punks and MAXICIMAM items 10% off!
* Selected items from various other brands also 10% off!

These sales are good for one day only, and will be good online or in-store. More information, including coupon codes, will be provided here before our 1pm Friday opening.

Bear in mind that while last year's Black Friday was our best day ever at that time, this year we've already experienced a pretty dramatic start to the Christmas shopping season. We are currently expecting a lot of new stock to come in between now and Christmas, but we are selling at a pretty feverish pace already. If there's something we have that you want, don't wait until Friday to buy it - it may be gone by then. We are trying to stock new items as fast as we can.

HOLIDAY HOURS

We like to spend time with our families too, and as such, we will be closing at 5PM on Wednesday November 23, and we'll be closed all day on Thursday November 24. We will be open for a regular schedule (M-S 1-8PM) after Thanksgiving.

Lock the Pandora's Memories, Usakumya rucksacks and more now in stock!

Today we received a nice shipment of items from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright and Alice and the Pirates!  Included in this shipment was most of our complement of "Lock the PANDORA's Memories" series items, as well as several "My Sweet Mate Kumya's Honey Hunt" items and also a few items from the "Milky Rail Train" series!  Baby now ships us items as they have them rather than all at once as a complete series - this means that we now often receive new items before they're even available on Baby's own web site!  The caveat is that it also means that we sometimes receive series piecemeal, so if you're waiting for the beautiful Milky Rail Train dresses or the Lock the PANDORA's Memories mini-hats, they'll hopefully be in the next shipment!

Next up in our continuing series of interviews with icons of the Japanese street fashion industry: MIDORI!

You know Midori as a covergirl for the Gothic & Lolita Bible, KERA model and Baby, the Stars Shine Bright representative. She's an idol of Lolita, Kodona and punk fashion and can be seen every month on countless pages of both of those magazines!

We'll be posting a Q&A with Midori soon, as we've previously done with AKIRA and Misako Aoki. And as usual, we want your questions! We'll be sending her our own, but if there's anything you're dying to ask her about the fashion, the industry, her own personal tastes or anything else, either leave a comment here or email us!

We'll post her answers within the next couple of weeks, so watch for that!

New winter items from SEX POT ReVeNGe! Plus restocked items!

A follow-up shipment to the SPR Autumn/Winter Collection items we previously received arrived today, and included in it are cold-weather items to keep you warm through the late fall and winter! We've also restocked a couple of popular items from the earlier shipment, including the Rock Skull Chiffon One-piece in red leopard and the Loose Flare Knit!

The new items include the FUNNY Loose Long Blouson in both red and grey:

...as well as the return of SPR's Gorgeous Parkas! These are produced every year, with different prints and slight variations in the design. This year's version features a fur collar with a black/color mix (as is the style these days) - past versions have had solid-color fur. We're stocking both the BLACK TRUTH and BOO!! versions of this parka.

The BOO!! parka is very pink! It has pink fur with a pink print.

The BLACK TRUTH parka is a little more muted in tone. It has red fur with a white print.

Don't forget that the Loose Flare Knit and Rock Skull Chiffon OP in red are also back in stock - both of these items sold out immediately the last time we had them, despite having multiples of each! These two items are already on our web site - the parkas and blousons will be posted by tomorrow. Please watch either the SPR New Arrivals page or just their main collection page!
