New items from Innocent World and Victorian maiden!

Just before we head for Japan, we've received and posted new items from classic Lolita brands Innocent World and Victorian maiden to our site for ordering! Get your orders in by the 30th for immediate shipping!

Included in the Innocent World shipment are items from both the Chocolate Chess and Marionette Theater series, two of their most popular new series! We've also gotten various other items individually for you to discover.

From Victorian maiden, we have new items including a return of the popular staple Standcollar Frill Blouse, the quintessentially classic Suzette Dress, standard petticoats, and the Mermaid Tights pictured above, a collaboration with famed illustrator Makoto Takahashi!

Japan-bound: shipping suspension from Oct 31 - Nov 11

Some of you may recognize the image above - it's the same one we used to notify you about the Tokyo Rebel team Japan visit earlier this year. Well, we're going back for the second time in 2013!

Consequently, there will be a temporary suspension of order shipments from October 31 through November 11. The online store will remain open for your orders. We still recommend ordering during that time if we have something you want, because someone else can still do the same and many items are limited in number. We will ship orders out in the order they were placed as soon as we return from Japan.

We will be responding to important emails, although please allow a little extra time.

Please place your orders on or before October 30 for shipping prior to the shipping suspension. Orders placed after that date will ship after the 11th.

We realize these suspensions can be inconvenient to our customers and we try not to do it unless absolutely necessary. However, there are a lot of behind-the-scenes benefits to you from these overseas excursions as well, even if they're not always obvious - this is how we started the business in the first place, after all!

requests now. Keep in mind that reservations are not guaranteed until confirmed, which
happens sometime after the official reserve date.

We do expect this to be a very popular series and have already seen high demand.
(This is often the case with seasonal or holiday-based series.)
If you have your heart set on a particular item, you may want to consider instead ordering
directly through Baby, the Stars Shine Bright's Japanese web site the night the series
goes on reserve, as it is possible that not all stores may receive all items they desire.
However, high demand series can be difficult to obtain by this method as well.
