This is the real Harajuku lifestyle!
It has been very hot and the temperature has been close to 86F these days, so I decided to cook very Kawaii Japanese food that fits to this season.
This food is called Somen, eaten mainly during summer in Japan!
Usually it has a white color, but I found colorful somen that fits me pretty well one day at a colorful knickknack store so I tried it (*^^*)
Before boiling the noodles looked like strings made of dried pasta, but after boiling it for about 2 minutes and immersing in ice water, it’s done!
Usually the noodle is eaten after dipping in “mentsuyu” which is fish broth based sauce, but depending on the family some people use miso soup instead. It is a very easy cooking and popular food in Japan.
The noodle itself doesn’t have much taste so I put some fruits and veggies to make it look Kawaii to eat!
I will eat it more this summer~!
Then, when the season changes the thing I can’t help thinking about is shoes♫
As you see, I love shoes so much so I can’t help getting more.
The first pair I bought this summer was CANDY STRIPPER sandals~!
The sole part looks a rainbow and the belt part is like watermelon ♥
I had a crush on these sandals that seem perfect for me, since I was born in summer.
Walking in HARAJUKU makes me impulse buy.
I hope beautiful shoes take me to beautiful places♫
