Our blog is moving!

We're making some changes around here - but have no fear, they won't affect our store or how we communicate with you guys.

As you probably know, things change quickly on the web. When we opened our web store in 2009, Shopify (our storefront host) offered only very basic blog tools that didn't work very well. At the same time, Google seemed to give preferential treatment to blogs from its own Blogger service in search results. So it made sense for us to have a separate Blogger blog.

But these days, Shopify's blogging tools have improved and Google has begun to de-emphasize Blogger - in fact, they've barely updated it at all in the past five years. So we've made the decision that it's better for our blog to live right on our main web site, rather than as this separate entity. That should make for a bit more of a seamless experience when shopping our online store.

We haven't imported all of our all blog posts, but this blog will remain online for the foreseeable future if you'd still like to read our older stuff.

Weekly Coordinates!

Hey there, Kitsy here! Welcome to this week's coordinate post! This week's coordinates feature items from Victorian maiden, Listen Flavor, PUTUMAYO, SEX POT ReVeNGe and Yosuke USA. You can find all these items both in-store and online!

First up, we have a Classic Lolita outfit using items from Victorian maiden! The vibrant bordeaux color of Glaukopis Adel Bustier Jumperskirt gives a romantic feeling, which I contrast with the black color of the Rose Lace Afternoon Blouse.For a more refined style I added the Shantung Frill Bolero with Corsage for a subtle flare and added silhouette. The elegant style of the Maniera Half Bonnet really pull this look together, along with its matching bordeaux hue.

Next we have a cute and casual pastel coordinate using items from Listen Flavor! The Menhara Nurse Long cutsew has a fun playful attitude, so I paired it with the lavender Faux Leather Rider Skirt to compliment their pastels hues. When worn with the Angel Heart Hooded Long knit cardigan, this outfit is perfect for chilly weather comfort! Added Q-pot's Creamy Macaron Necklace for an extra touch of sweet.

Next we have PUTUMAYO! Inspired by the Velveteen Ruffle Bustier, I wanted to show how this boned bustier can give a whole new look when worn over dresses. The elegant Flounce Dress has a whole new silhouette when worn with the bustier, giving a mature look and a sexy attitude, especially with the added choker. The bustier has removable straps, making this look ever more versatile!

Lastly I used SEX POT ReVeNGe items to create a casual unisex coordinate! The relaxed oversized cut of the Poison BIG cutsew is flattering on all sizes, and it's graphic print shows off a casual tone of grunge style. Layered with the SIN Zip Parka, this look has a cozy yet subtle rock style. Paired with the tattered BLACK SUPER STRETCH CRASH Pants, it adds a slight touch of grunge. Our new Thick-Soled Lace Up Boots pull together this look with one last touch of rocker style!
